MEET MICHAEL ANASTAS
Michael is a Partner in Financial Services at HWLE Lawyers. He advises on all aspects of financial services regulation across financial institutions, digital banking, funds and other regulated providers. Michael has considerable experience leading major law reform projects including consumer credit, banking, AML / CTF, privacy and payments reforms.
He also assists with regulator engagement and remediation matters. Michael has advised on Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing laws since their inception in 2006 and under the Financial Transaction Reports regime.
